Creating Safe, Supportive Environments

Every young person deserves to discover their potential. FHTRC helps by connecting them with horses. This program is for youth facing challenges at home, school, or in their communities. It offers a safe space where they can build confidence, develop life skills, and form meaningful connections.

Why Horses

Horses have long been recognized for their ability to heal minds and bodies. They provide non-judgmental feedback that can offer validation for the rider. Working alongside horses teaches responsibility, communication, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and trust. The skills they learn extend far beyond the barn.

Benefits Can Include:

  • Increased confidence and self-esteem
